The GVES Spring Book Fair is Coming! 

Dear Green Valley Elementary Families, 

We’re excited to invite students to our upcoming Scholastic Book Fair! This event is an opportunity for students of all ages to have the chance to purchase some of the newest and most popular books to build their home library and further their love of reading. All purchases will benefit our school library! 

Here is some information you need to know about the Scholastic Book Fair which will take place between April 9th – April 16th. Students will shop on their library class day, and families are invited to visit the book fair during your child’s lunchtime this week (please contact your child’s teacher for lunchtimes). Please note if you are having lunch with your student and attending the book fair while signing in at the office. Have lunch with your child and then attend the book fair together! Students must return to class at the end of their lunchtime. You may also bring your child to shop during our evening hours on Tuesday, April 14th from 4:00pm-6:00pm. Please note that no cash or checks can be accepted during the evening event (only eWallet and debit/credit card). During the school day we are able to accept eWallet, cash, credit/debit cards and checks made payable to GVES. 

 

We will be open each day from 7:25am – 2:00pm for our students who have classes that day to shop. To make purchasing at the book fair more quick and easy, you may sign your child up to use eWallet, which is a safe, cashless way for your child to shop at the fair. To set up an eWallet account for your child visit the GVES Online Book Fair page at the following link https://www.scholastic.com/bf/greenvalleyelementaryschool or scan the QR code at the bottom of this page, then follow the instructions to set up your account. You can also make purchases through our online book fair and have items shipped to your home! 

 

The book fair is an important fundraiser for our school library, but more importantly, books are an investment for your child’s education and future. The money earned from the book fair will help us purchase new books and equipment for our school library. Please come shop at the book fair and share the love of reading with us!
